Rich full-body. Dark. High notes of fruit and some floral. Finished with a vanilla tobacco-like chocolatey mouth feel that is pleasantly smokey.

We're extremely proud of our Sumatra coffee because we have extremely high taste standards for Sumatra. Many Sumatra's have an aged bite to it, that many believe to be a strong characteristic for a well-rounded Sumatra. Don't let that fool your taste buds. Coffee does not get better with age. Sumatra's are unique with the characteristic of having a full-body and a taste profile that can sometimes be considered "funky." We don't mind that "funkiness" because that is what makes the Sumatra character unique, but "funk" and "age" are not what we strive for together.

Our Sumatra is roasted lighter than many, bringing out an extremely tasty cup. As with all coffees, we strive to highlight the character of the cup instead of muting it. We are even more strict with the Sumatra, and controlling tightly to ensure we do not let the Sumatra roast too dark.
